How the Concierge Athletic Trainer Network collects, uses, stores, and protects information.
Last Updated: May 30, 2026
The Concierge Athletic Trainer Network ("CATN," "we," "our," or "us") is an independent online listing directory connecting the public with BOC-certified athletic trainers available for individual hire. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information through this website. By using this platform, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
From athletic trainer registrants. When an athletic trainer submits a registration, we collect the following categories of information: name, email address, phone number (if provided), city, state, zip code, years of licensed practice, BOC certification number, state license number, licensing state, NPI number (if provided), credentials held, business or practice name (if provided), business entity type (if provided), specialty or sport focus, bio or description, business website URL (if provided), social media links (if provided), travel availability, and service radius. All registration information is submitted voluntarily by the registrant.
From directory users. When a member of the public searches the directory, we process the search query (zip code, city name, or specialty filter) to return relevant results. We do not require users to create accounts, and we do not collect, store, or track personal information from users of the search feature.
Automatically collected information. At this time, CATN does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics services, or any other automated tracking technologies. We do not track user behavior on this site. If CATN adds analytics or tracking tools in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those tools, the data they collect, and how that data is used before any such tools are deployed.
Information submitted by registrants is used solely to operate the directory and to perform the limited administrative credential screening described in our Terms of Use.
Credential information (BOC certification number, state license number, NPI number) is collected for internal administrative and screening purposes only and is not displayed publicly on the platform.
Public-facing listing information (name, credentials held, contact information, location, specialty, bio, website, social media links, travel availability, and service radius) is displayed in the directory upon approval of the registrant's submission.
We do not sell, rent, license, or share registrant information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purpose unrelated to the operation of the directory.
Registration data is stored in Airtable, a third-party cloud database service. By submitting a registration, you acknowledge that your information will be processed and stored in Airtable's systems. Airtable's privacy policy is available at airtable.com/privacy. CATN does not control Airtable's data handling practices and is not responsible for Airtable's security or privacy practices.
CATN takes reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include restricting access to registration data to authorized personnel, using password-protected accounts for administrative access, and limiting the categories of information displayed publicly. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and CATN cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
By submitting a registration and agreeing to the Terms of Use, registrants consent to having their public-facing listing information displayed in the CATN directory. This information is visible to anyone who visits the site, including search engines. Registrants should not include any information in their listing that they do not wish to be publicly available.
Active listing information is retained for as long as the registrant's listing remains active on the platform. If a registrant requests deactivation or removal of their listing, public-facing listing information will be removed from the directory within five (5) business days of approval of the deactivation request. Upon removal, CATN may retain non-public registration data (including credential numbers and internal screening records) for up to twelve (12) months for record-keeping, legal compliance, and dispute resolution purposes, after which it will be deleted unless retention is required by law. If a listing is removed by CATN for cause (such as credential misrepresentation), CATN may retain the associated registration data for as long as reasonably necessary to document the basis for removal.
Registrants may request removal of their listing at any time by submitting a deactivation request through the Update My Listing page or by emailing catnnetwork@gmail.com. Public-facing listing information will be removed from the directory within five (5) business days of approval of the request. Non-public data will be retained and deleted in accordance with Section 7 above.
When a user contacts a trainer through the directory, any information exchanged between the user and the trainer is governed by the trainer's own privacy practices, not by this Privacy Policy. CATN is not a party to any communication, engagement, or service relationship between a user and a trainer, and CATN does not access, monitor, store, or control any information exchanged between them. Users should review the trainer's own privacy practices before sharing personal or health-related information.
Registrant listings may include links to the registrant's own website, social media profiles, or other external resources. CATN does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of any third-party website or resource. Clicking on an external link in a registrant's listing will take you outside the CATN platform, and this Privacy Policy will no longer apply.
This website is not directed at children under the age of thirteen (13), and CATN does not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under thirteen, we will take steps to delete that information as promptly as practicable.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) may provide you with additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. CATN does not sell personal information. To exercise any rights you may have under California law, contact us at catnnetwork@gmail.com. CATN will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Note: CATN may not currently meet the revenue, data-volume, or other thresholds that trigger full CCPA/CPRA compliance obligations. This section is included proactively to address California-based registrants and users and to establish baseline disclosure language.
CATN reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
Questions about this Privacy Policy, requests to remove your information, or requests to exercise any applicable privacy rights can be directed to catnnetwork@gmail.com or submitted through the Update My Listing page.
